‘You wouldn’t want to leave this place’: an apricot orchard and views of Mount Ararat — a ‘fairytale’ town is being built in Armenia
Здесь предусмотрено всё: от школы до ресторана. Жители Goght Urban Valley рассказали, почему променяли мегаполисы на уютный городок вблизи Гарни
YEREVAN, 20 April. Novosti-Armenia. In spring, the Goght Urban Valley holiday home development near the village of Garni is transformed, taking on a special atmosphere and a touch of magic. The blossoming apricot orchard seems to become part of the scenery of some beautiful and heart-warming fairy tale. And the main characters of this fairy tale are the people who will live here.
On 18 April, Goght Urban Valley held an ‘Open Day’. The project management organised a meeting with the complex’s residents, as well as with potential buyers. Such events have already become a cherished tradition: during these gatherings, people get to know one another, socialise, and future neighbours make plans together, discussing what their green hedges will look like, where they will play sport, how to spend quiet evenings, and even where they will walk their pets.
On this occasion, all guests were invited to choose a plot for the ‘Lovers’ Alley’. To elaborate, this corner is one of the cherished dreams of the project’s CEO, Movses Zavarayan. He even shared his thoughts with those present: ‘At Goght Urban Valley, everything will be a turnkey solution. You come to us, fall in love, get married, buy a home. Your children attend our nursery, our school, play in our playgrounds, grow up in harmony with nature, and live in an environmentally friendly neighbourhood. And then, quite likely, your grandchildren will live here too.”
Both visitors and those who have already purchased property here have shared their impressions of Goght Urban Valley.
Susanna (Russia): ‘It’s absolutely beautiful here, there are so many trees, and the air is crystal clear! It’s a brilliant project because you get to choose your own house and build it in a consistent style, but tailored to your own preferences. Unfortunately, my family is still in Russia, but I’ll do everything I can to get them to move to Goght.”
Nikita (Russia): ‘I’m from Moscow , but to be honest, the big-city lifestyle really gets to me. I feel very at home in Yerevan, but unfortunately the air quality in the city leaves a lot to be desired. And in Goght, it’s simply impossible not to fall in love with everything we see.A big plus is that the residential complex is located in a tourist area, right next to the magnificent architectural and historical monuments of Garni and Geghard. We also have a large dog, who will be very comfortable here, as Goght Urban Valley will cater to even the smallest details to ensure a peaceful and happy life for pets.”
Rumata (Russia): ‘There are actually loads of really well-thought-out solutions here; I absolutely love the unique “city within a city” concept. Goght Urban Valley has everything you could need: from a medical centre and sports facilities to a restaurant, café, shop, nursery and school.
Overall, I think it’s a very attractive project from an investment perspective and a wonderful place to live. I’ve just stepped out onto the balcony and immediately thought that I’d love to grow old happily here. The views are breathtaking! The Azat Reservoir, Mount Ararat, the surrounding mountains, the sun, the air, the water. I don’t want to leave this place. It’s wonderful here!”
Sergey (Armenia): ‘Today we received a wonderful gift – the keys to our home. Why did we choose Goght Urban Valley? Because we fell in love with the place. It has everything you need for a comfortable life. The only thing missing is the sea – just kidding, of course. But everything else is here: sunshine, fresh air, stunning nature, wonderful neighbours – many of whom we’ve already got to know – and excellent management of the complex. We’ll soon finish the renovations and start living here.”
Guests were invited to take a tour of the development, familiarise themselves with the architectural design and see how construction was progressing.
People asked a wide variety of questions and received expert answers from Goght Urban Valley specialists. After the tour, a reception awaited everyone, during which those present enjoyed socialising, engaging in lively conversations, and some even exchanged phone numbers and business cards. There was a sense that people were beginning to feel part of the future community.
