A five-star resort under the Swissôtel brand is planned for construction in Armenia's Kotayk Province as part of the Goght Urban Valley countryside complex.
YEREVAN, June 10. News-Armenia. A five-star resort under the Swissôtel brand is planned for construction in Armenia's Kotayk Province as part of the Goght Urban Valley countryside complex. A corresponding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the developers of the Goght Urban Valley project, in partnership with Le Rond Group, and the Accor hospitality group, whose portfolio includes the Swissôtel brand.
The Swissôtel Park Village & Wellness Resort will become part of the ongoing construction of the Goght Urban Valley countryside complex, located 30 kilometers from Yerevan. The project entails the development of a hotel complex that includes an 80-room main hotel building, as well as 60 detached, modern villas.
Wellness Concept and Infrastructure
One of the key pillars of the project will be its wellness concept, which combines modern approaches to prevention, recovery, and maintaining quality of life.
The resort plans to establish a medical and wellness center based on the principles of preventive and restorative medicine. A spa complex and fitness infrastructure will further complement this health ecosystem.
The resort's amenities will also feature a restaurant serving local and international cuisine, a lobby bar, a kids' club, conference halls, and venues for business and private events.
Sustainable Development and the Natural Environment
A core element of the project will be a nature park spanning approximately 20 hectares. It will be accessible to both resort guests and local residents, serving as a dedicated space for walking, leisure, and recreational activities.
Special emphasis throughout the project will be placed on ecology and mindful interaction with the environment. The development of the hospitality infrastructure will integrate principles of sustainable development and responsible environmental management, fully aligning with international standards and the strategic guidelines of the Accor hospitality group.
The Significance of the Partnership
The partnership with the Swissôtel brand marks a significant milestone in the development of Goght Urban Valley, reflecting the growing interest of international hotel operators in Armenia as a promising destination for premium tourism and wellness hospitality.
The project will contribute to the development of the region's tourism infrastructure and strengthen Armenia's international appeal as a prime destination for high-quality leisure and wellness.

It is particularly meaningful to us that an esteemed international brand has recognized the immense potential of both this specific location and the core concept of our project.”
